Overview
Bradley HR Solutions are currently supporting a Nottingham based business recruit for a new Warehouse Team Leader . We are looking for an exceptional Warehouse Team Leader who has drive, determination and ambition to run a high performing and efficient team . You will most probably be working within a larger warehouse right now where KPI’s, targets and a desire to be better than yesterday are all totally normal. We are looking for someone to bring that to our Warehouse and work with us on our journey to continually improve and transform our warehouse operation. We are looking for someone who can lead a team, set a great example and is not afraid to challenge and question anything less than perfect. You will be a supportive manager who is approachable and creates a sense of fun and energy within the team but not be a push over Working as part of the management team, you will be responsible for the smooth running of the warehouse on a day to day basis and manage your team on that shift effectively. You will take pride in your work and the warehouse you work in; you will look for a clean and tidy environment and also that all items are appropriately placed away. You will be motivated and highly driven to run a successful shift. Accuracy and efficiency are key to make sure customer orders are fulfilled in a timely manner which is one of our key objectives each shift. As a team leader, you will support your team and ensure you all work together to achieve these objectives; you will step in to resolve conflict that may arise but also create an environment where people enjoy coming to work. You will have a good sense of humour, a sense of fun and enthusiasm and overall a commitment to being fair with your team. You will not be afraid to get your hands dirty and during busy periods, get stuck in to dispatch orders. Likewise, you will be able to attend management meetings and speak on behalf of your team to represent their hard work, efforts and any improvements that could be made. My client are a dynamic and market responsive firm which means they are constantly changing. They seek to improve their work methods continuously and would be open to any suggestions you can make. They have recently implemented new technology to the warehouse and there is further investment available as they know there is more than can be done; they want someone to come to them with new ideas and methods to continue to develop and become a world-class warehouse operation.
