Class 2 Driver/Valetor Location: Western Truck Rental Tiverton Who are we:VMS (Fleet Management) Ltd is a forward-thinking fleet management and contract hire company with facilities throughout the UK. VMS provides a range of services to both blue chip and SME fleet operators and Insurance companies including contract hire, flexi-hire, accident management repair and maintenance and fleet disposal and sales services. VMS has recently acquired Western Truck Rental based out of two sites in Devon and as part of our strong growth strategy we are now looking to appoint two additional Class 2 Driver/Valetors to support the development of our Vehicle Hire business. Job Requirements: Responsibility for ensuring that vehicles are delivered and collected to clients premises in a timely and efficient manner Ensuring vehicles prepared for delivery are thoroughly checked before delivery Preparing defleet and end of contract vehicles for resale Ensuring vehicles are parked appropriately within the yard and kept secure at all times Maintaining effective communication with the Depot office at all times Agreeing condition of vehicle with client on delivery or collection and completing paperwork and photography routines to support this using tablet device Liaising with client regarding delivery times and locations General assistance in the depot and yard as required Skills / Experience You will have a valid Class 2 license / CPC card Ideally you'll have some basic mechanical knowledge and be the kind of person who responds to customers with the utmost care and attention, providing the highest level of service to contribute positively to the growth of the branch You'll be a great team player, assisting other team members in their roles when required You will also be confident in driving a wide variety of different vehicle types Location : This position will be based from our Tiverton site but will also require visits to vehicles away from the depot either for collection or delivery as required Hourly rate: £10.50 per hour plus significant overtime earning opportunity
