Overview
Warehouse Clerk(PM Shift) required for a Logistics, Freight, Parcel, Pallet & Courier Company, an award winning overnight delivery company, based in Cannock, Staffordshire, West Midlands. Job Title: Warehouse Clerk Salary of circa £18000 to £19000 including monthly Attendance Bonus after 6 months. Normal working hours 40 hours a week from 12.30 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. Monday to Friday including a 30 minute unpaid break. Area : Based out of our Cannock Depot, Product: Logistics, Freight, Parcels, Pallets and Courier company, with a company philosophy of providing first class service at all times and exceeding expectations. Job Description: PM Warehouse Clerk required for a Logistics, Freight, Parcel, Pallet & Courier Company, an award winning overnight delivery company, based in Cannock, Staffordshire, West Midlands. JOB DESCRIPTION: - Process international shipments via preferred shippers, monitor and follow up with Proof of Deliveries - Process over-sized shipments via a variety of couriers - Auditing freight outside of Networks current freight profiles, record and change on system to ensure correct charging to customer - Various warehouse duties as required - Process Customer collections and cash sales - Provide Sameday department holiday cover when needed - Cover for holiday and sickness on our implant contract in Lichfield , input the jobs onto the network system, print barcodes, label freight and load in the relevant cages on site. This includes 1 delivery before arrival at our customer. This requires driving a Luton van. Please note this element of the role will be necessary for approximately the first 3-4 months of employment Key Skills / Experience / Requirements: - A driving licence is essential - A keen eye for detail - Calm and attentive manner with polite and professional and organised demeanour - Experience using Microsoft office programmes, Excel, outlook etc - Previous shipping and freight experience preferred - Knowledge of freight restrictions preferred You must also have a range of personal skills and attributes including; - Initiative and Involvement - Flexible - Good Team player - Disciplined - Commitment and desire to succeed - Health and Safety awareness - Good verbal communication and inter-personal skills both face to face and on telephone. - Relationship management with others - Stress Tolerance - Reliable and trustworthy Warehouse Clerk(PM Shift) required for a Logistics, Freight, Parcel, Pallet & Courier Company, an award winning overnight delivery company, based in Cannock, Staffordshire, West Midlands.
