Home Managers of North Wales have I got the early Christmas present for you. One of my most favourite clients in the area are on the lookout for a Home Manager for their multi award-winning care home in Abergele. This small independent care company are well established and well respected. They have a handful of unique, beautifully designed and well run nursing homes, some of which have won awards. The Director who I have come to know well over the last few years is hugely passionate about his homes and he understands the importance of having happy staff and creating cultures that deliver upon this. With above average staffing ratio's, training and development opportunities, attractive rates of pay and fabulous long serving managers, you simply won't find a better environment to work in. This Home Managers role is therefore rare as they don't come up all too often with this company. The Home Manager that is leaving has been with the company for the last eight years and started out as a nurse with them. She is only leaving due to re-location, so no suspicious circumstances here, you may just have to fill some big shoes. But the residents come first don't they? Well of course they do, by working hard on creating happy environments and a range of benefits for staff, this inevitably transfers down to the residents, which is mirrored in the compliant CIW reports that all these homes have.
