Automation Tester - Publishing Organisation £35k - £40k per annum - Leeds Must have experience with Selenium WebDriver Compensation on offer 6-9% pension 25 days annual leave Private medical Life Assurance Holiday buy Car allowance The Ideal Candidate An Automation Tester with atleast 2 years experience in Automation Testing using modern testing techniques, the ideal candidate will have experience in Selenium Webdriver for Automation, Gatling or JMeter and C# on the .Net side. Experience working in an Agile environment would be desireable. Company Description A leading Publications organisation specialising in Legal and Business documentation to global firms. Role Description; Innovate process improvements that enable efficient delivery and maintenance with consistent direction. Research available tools and lead or participate in initiatives to identify and implement those that will cost-effectively enhance testing capabilities and product quality. Identify areas for cooperation with other teams to improve overall quality and, with peers or others, implement initiatives improving testing capability and efficiency. Configure, maintain, and/or administer testing tools or environments. Develop and maintain automated and performance testing for assigned projects to successfully and consistently enable delivery of high-quality software products and services on time, on budget, and to specification. Research available tools and participate in initiatives to implement those that will cost-effectively enhance testing capabilities and product quality. Conduct project reviews, ensuring review criteria are defined, and implementing procedures for ensuring quality control of project deliverables. Cooperate in the enhancement of the methodologies employed for test planning and execution, defect tracking, and metric and status reporting. Work across teams to enhance quality assurance/testing and help to develop/execute performance and automation testing throughout the business as appropriate. Experience required; Selenium WebDriver C# / Visual Studio / MSTest / NUnit Strong understanding of Agile testing methodologies. Strong knowledge of process improvement. Ability to develop and execute complex automated and performance testing. Understanding of industry trends. Experience desired: Specflow Gatling / JMeter Rest Sharp Strong research skills (tools/root cause analysis). Exhibits innovative approaches to process improvement. Administration of testing tools/environments.
