Do you have knowledge of the telecoms/technology industry and would love a new challenge? This role is to provide first line support for the PBX triage, support and administration to our customers with responsibility for the full life cycle of incidents/problems that may arise. Location: Nelson Salary: £20,000 to £25,000 - Dependant on Experience Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30am to 17:00pm Resolving customer problems both directly from customers and through technical escalation. Implementing fixes and solutions where appropriate, either via discussing directly with the customer, via email, escalation to engineers or shipping required parts. Liaising with customers therefore requiring excellent communication skills. To develop good working relationship with internal office staff and field based engineers. To assist other Technical staff and engineers involved in projects, and to work with management in the assignment of tasks where required. To be able to provide the customer updates on the progress of their enquiry and follow up that any shipped parts have been delivered and resolved the issue To be able to provide clear and concise documentation of completed allocated work. To be able to liaise with PBX engineers technical support helpdesk to provide solutions to rectify problematic faults. To work closely with other colleagues to continually pursue self-development through in house training and to also assist in the development and training of colleagues. To join the 24/7 on call rota.
