INVENTORY ANALYST & MASTER DATA MANAGER Role: Inventory Analyst & Master Data Manager Location: Chippenham (Office Based) Type: Permanent Salary: 40,000 15 % Bonus A phenomenal opportunity has become available to become the Inventory Analyst & Master Data Manager for a well-respected pharmaceutical company that works with licensed food, cosmetics, supplements and medical devices and has trebled its annual turnover in the past five years. This role will own and define the Master Data requirements and integrity for the business to include that which is required to run the ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics AX, and any external customer/warehouse/distributor set-ups. There will also be a focus on Inventory Analysis with a view to reducing working capital without impacting customer service and assuring the timely actions related to obsolescence and destructions. Responsibilities and Duties: This role will have close working relationships with Logistics/Systems Manager/Supply Planners/Finance and 3PLs Develop and implement inventory analysis best practices and reporting procedures All Operational Master Data input, governance and amendments in AX Leading the operational month End Business Processes in conjunction with Finance (processes and timings as defined by AX system requirements) Owner of daily interfaces and first point of contact for all operational issues between 3PL and AX Accountable for standardising operational ways of working within our 3PL network Owner of related KPIs (stock turns, inventory values, short dated stock provisions) for monthly dashboard and S&OP Controlling and managing all re-order points based around the ABC analysis Owner of short dated stock analysis including root causing (in conjunction with Supply Planners/Commercial/Demand). Financial provisions as per process defined by Finance. Communicate any impending inventory issues to the relevant internal customers in a timely manner offering up solutions if possible Owner of monthly replenishments between warehouses and across entities Person Profile: 5 years experience in a related role The successful candidate will bring with them a strong, proven, track record of implementing best practices within the pharmaceutical or FMCG industry. They will need to be an influencer and be able to demonstrate this.
