Company related bonus Full benefits package The role of the Sales Support Technician – Geotechnical & Civil Engineering will involve: Entry level technical AutoCAD position in the civil engineering sector Reading drawings, quantifying materials and preparing outline quotes Generating technical proposals, construction drawings and bespoke details, including the use of BIM Working closely with the regional sale team responding to incoming phone calls and generating quotes Utilizing the CRM database to manage enquiries, follow up and secure orders Undertake engineering designs and design proposals using AutoCAD design software Participate I the creation of technical tools/ presentations etc and assist the technical teams on site visits/ technical presentations where required Provide technical support to the operations of the construction teams Work closely with Area Engineers to promote geotechnical engineering systems Opportunity to develop into a Area Engineer position in 2-3 years The ideal applicant will be a Sales Support Technician – Geotechnical & Civil Engineering experience with: · Construction/ civil engineering industry experience · AutoCAD proficient · Willing to learn, full product and software training will be provided · Accurate and detail focussed · Personable with good telephone manner and strong written communication · Positive approach to customer service/ client support · HND/ HNC/ Degree industry related qualification not essential as “on the job” experience will be considered · Reasonably outgoing The Company: · Very well established business · Circa £14m UK turnover · Part of a larger group · Privately held Please contact Paul, Lee or Simon from Mitchell Maguire on 01625 527 207 for an immediate interview.
