Overview
Java Developer | Tewkesbury | £35,000 - £45,000 My client are distributive start up whose product is focused on designing and delivering innovative solutions for our customers, solutions which currently exploit cloud based deployments. They have had incredible growth over the last couple of years. I am looking for a good knowledge of the Java programming language, plus associated tooling such as Maven, Git and a modern IDE such IntelliJ IDEA. My client are moving towards a fully blown CI/CD automated pipeline, so experience with the design and implementation of unit tests using libraries such as JUnit is essential. The main responsibility of the role is to carry out Java full stack development activities to develop functionality of software updates What my client is looking for – . Good experience in core Java, with experience at language level 8/11 Interest/ Experience in Unit and Systems testing using JUnit Experience in Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) to include JAX-RS2 and Servlets Experience with both SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, DB2 etc) and NoSQL databases (ideally ArangoDB) Experience designing and developing container based Microservice based architectures using Docker including Swarm Mode or Kubernetes What to do next – My client are looking to interview potential candidates as soon as possible, if you are interested in this role please put your CV forward.
