Overview

The UK Battery Industrialisation Centre (UKBIC) are currently recruiting for a Data Analyst. UKBIC are a leading Lithium-Ion Battery Manufacturing Technical Centre located in the West Midlands. They aim to develop the next generation of battery systems across electrode, cell, module and pack levels to allow companies to move to full scale, high volume battery manufacturing. Commutable from: Coventry, Warwick, Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, Oxford, Leicester, Birmingham Salary: £ 28,000 - 35,000 p.a. Pension 25 days holiday. Suitable for: Data Analyst, Business Analyst, BI Analyst. The Role Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Data Analyst will implement a system to interpret data from the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and ERP to produce meaningful charts and visual management to detect trends in UKBIC quality and manufacturing performance using appropriate data models. This will include transforming the raw data from the multiple sources into information and dashboards which can be used to make critical business decisions. The Data Analyst will liaise with engineers and senior management to identify potential concerns and root cause from data sets. The data analyst will help facilitate the continuous improvement of manufacturing processes and systems from the analysis of big data that UKBIC will be generating. The data analyst will be crucial to UKBICs aim of becoming a data driven organisation. Clear understanding of database structures and reporting e.g. SQL The systematic collection and analysis of process related data, historical and real time, of products and machinery. Experience in Data Management and data mining Excels in data-driven optimizations. Excels in documentation of research and interpretation of results.
