Overview
Engineering Manager, Technical Lead, Software Development Manager, Java8, Node, Javascript, React, Hooks, Python, Data, DevOps, Kubernetes, CI/CD, AWS, GCP Leading UK E-commerce client, require a permanent technical Engineering Manager, to manage a team of 8 initially, focusing on a large integration programme which involves large volumes of data and transactions too. The Engineering Manager, will perform well under pressure, and have a proactive approach to solving technical and process issues, will work closely with tech leads, Product teams, QA, DevOps managers etc, as well as still being technical and being able to be "hands on" if needed with either Java8, Python, Javascript, Node, React, Hadoop, RDBMS, Microservices, Kafka, ESB, NoSQL etc as well as championing best practises in CI/CD, believing in a DevOps culture and using automated tests (BDD/TDD) with tools like Selenium, Gatling, Spock, JUnit etc. Benefits include -Bonus Scheme (upto 20%) -Pension, gym/restaurant/holiday/retail discounts -Regular salary reviews -Great colleagues and much more… Please forward your CV for more details - remote interviews taking place in April.
