Green Gables is a beautiful 28 bed residential home for adults with complex physical disabilities. We are situated in the town of Alfreton, within beautiful surroundings and easy access to local amenities. Green Gables is a home from home for our residents and their families. We pride ourselves on our friendly, welcoming atmosphere and our residents are at the heart of everything we do We are currently recruiting for a number of passionate Support Workers to join our existing team here at Green Gables, to provide assistance with care, personal support, daily living tasks and activities. This is a fulfilling and rewarding role, and the opportunity to make a real difference to our customers lives. Responsibilities for this role include: Provide full personal care including bathing, washing, toileting etc. Ensure effective communication is held between colleagues, our customers and their families. Provide support with daily activities in the community such as shopping, medical appointments, or days out. Maintain maximum independence, considering their physical and emotional needs. To ensure that record-keeping is maintained and updated in an accurate, timely, and confidential manner. Person Specification It will be evident to us that you have a clear passion for care and do genuinely care for the individuals within our services.
