Java Developers - Tech Transformation Project Milton Keynes 50k-70k A leading Financial Services company based in Milton Keynes is looking for talented Java Developers to join its team. The firm is the main finance company for four of the UK's leading car brands, and the company helps businesses and individuals to hire, buy or lease new and used vehicles from their car partners. As a Java developer you will be working on a platform that helps with customer payments, risk insurance and financial gateways. The company is currently undergoing a Tech transformation, they are moving from Legacy Technology to event driven microservices based cloud architecture and you will help to drive this forward. As part of the role you will develop features, deliver user stories and solve customer issues on their main platform. You'll work on key architecture components evolving this in-line with product features. You'll strive for operational excellence for their customers on their (hosted and shared cloud) platforms. The company is looking to take on Senior, Mid-Level and junior developers . Essential Skills: Good understanding of Spring Boot Knowledge around Core Java Experience working with TDD Microservices Desirable skills: Front end experience (preferably Angular) Understanding of Java streams The company offer a range of benefits including flexible working time, some remote working and a personal learning and development budget.
