Logistics & Warehouse Supervisor £26,000 - £30,000 (DOE) Leicester Grafton are recruiting for a well-established local parts distributor to source an experienced Logistics & Warehouse Supervisor to manage the warehouse operations and support the Procurement Director with forecasting and reporting. The purpose of the role is to take lead, manage and drive the Warehouse Operational team, keeping staff motivated, focused and engaged. Responsibilities: Effective leadership of a small team of warehouse personnel Workload planning and volume forecasting Leading daily and weekly meetings, giving clear directions and supporting warehouse team Managing inventory, constantly suggesting ideas and ways of process improvement People management including absence, return to work, disciplinaries and grievances Working collaboratively with all stakeholders ensuring all areas of the DC succeed Requirements: Strong understanding of supply chain process in particular inventory management Ability to build and develop a team Experienced with over 3 years' experience working in a fast paced environment Competent in Microsoft Office (excel, word, outlook) and Warehouse Management Systems Resource planning Excellent communication & analytical skills FLT license is highly desirable but not essential Benefits: Bonus after 6 month probation 28 days holidays (inclusive of Bank Holidays) 2 weeks off during Christmas Fun, friendly working environment "Promote within" culture HOW TO APPLY: To be considered for this role, please click on the link provided.
