The appointment of a new Chief Executive has been instrumental in driving innovation across the business resulting in nearly 20% revenue growth in just 2 years. On the back of a significant investment in marketing, one of the key areas that has grown is the business’s Legal Services advice team. The team is based in their state-of-the-art Bristol head office. The office has a friendly and lively culture and some great facilities such as a subsidised restaurant and free parking. The business also supports flexible and part-time working. The team comprises of a mix of qualified solicitors, law graduates, legal executives and paralegals and work with both private and business clients. As a Legal Advisor, you will be part of this fast-paced team providing accurate legal advice to clients both over the phone and in writing on a whole range of private and corporate legal matters. Effectively, the Legal Services advice team advises on a wide range of legal matters including personal injury, negligence, consumer/contract, family, wills and probate, employment, education, and residential property. As a Legal Advisor, you will need to show empathy and understanding for your client's issues and offer positive resolutions over the phone, including guidance on all products provided by and/or serviced by the business. The team is led by experienced and friendly managers who are on hand to support you on a day to day basis as well as to develop/train your technical skills. As the ideal candidate you will: Be a law graduate (LLB and/or post graduate qualification eg LLM, LPC/LSF or BVC and/or equivalent legal/insurance experience Demonstrate expertise in providing advice in all core foundation areas of law: Contract/Consumer, Civil Litigation, Tort/Negligence, Personal Injury Ideally have a strong working knowledge: Employment and/or Property law.
