HSEQ Maternity cover

HSE Recruitment are exclusively working with a leading consultancy who provide support into the engineering sector, on the recruitment of Interim HSE Advisor. This role which will be based predominately from the London office, but will cover two European and two Middle Eastern sites, however will based from the UK with minimal international travel. You would be required to work on average 3 days per week from the London office, and the rest covering the other UK sites , 3 in total. This role is covering a maternity leave and we would expect the position (Covid 19 dependent) to start around May, and run for approximately 10 months. The role will be extremely varied, and requires someone very competent who can work autonomously. The day to day of the role will involve everything from policies and procedures, remote audits, well being policies and implementation, project risk assessments, quality audits, analysis of dashboard figures and trends, and reporting these effectively, admin and documentation control, dealing with site leaderships teams gaining their buy in and engagement and disseminating information as needed (amongst other things). Ideally you will come from a consultancy environment, and would be NEBOSH Certificate (or equivalent) as a minimum. Desirable would be a 9001 lead auditor qualification. You will also need to have very good Excel and computer skills. You will be engaging, a real team player, helpful and willing to get your hands dirty. Our client is not looking for someone who can merely identify problems, but who is able to propose effective solutions. In return you will receive a salary of £35-40k per annum (pro rata).
