We have an excellent opportunity to work as a Qualified Social Worker (AP) with Wakefield Council. You will be a qualified; Social Work England registered Social Worker looking for a creative change. You will need to be a confident communicator, adaptable, have a real can-do approach, you must demonstrate sound professional knowledge particularly with regards to current legislation including that of Safeguarding Children. You will need to be able to work autonomously and be person centred in your approach ensuring a commitment to making safeguarding personal. Hold and manage a caseload appropriate to grade and length of experience including Children in Need, Child Protection and Looked after Children as allocated by the Team Manager. Meet the social work needs of children, young people, their families and carers by assessing, arranging, co-ordinating, providing and monitoring plans for children with multi-agency partners to ensure good timely outcomes for children and young people.
