West Sussex County Council are seeking a Group Manager to work in our Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) based in Horsham. The successful candidate will lead the operational management of the front door to Children's Social Care, promote excellence in decision making and ensure that children and families receive the right support at the right time. You will be integral in ensuring that children in West Sussex are achieving the best outcomes. The MASH is the starting point for planning for children, promoting the Signs of Safety framework from the beginning of children's journey, to ensure that their voice is heard at every stage. The Group Manager in the MASH will be key to ensuring that our links with partner agencies continue to develop, and the essential links with our Early Help service are strengthened and promoted. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Demonstrating a clear vision for the direction of the Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub, a focus on delivering an excellent service to the children and families in West Sussex, and also our partner agencies, and an ability to evidence a strong grip on performance and improvement are essential in this role. As a Group Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the principles and objectives of the service are delivered operationally and you will contribute to the senior management strategic vision for the Assessment and Intervention Service, and the wider Children's Social Care vision. A Social Work qualification and management experience is essential for this role.
