Overview
A permanent Systems Administrator role with a rapidly growing IT consultancy based in Sheffield, up to £26,000 Your new company Your new role will be with a rapidly expanding IT consultancy based in Sheffield who are looking to add to their head count. Within the Systems Administrator role, your core function will be to administer the AD system, manage SCCM, deploy applications and manage builds. All interviews for this position will be performed remotely. Your new role Within this role, you'll be working closely with customers to facilitate their needs and organise User Acceptance Testing once applications are built and deployed. You'll be reviewing action requests for application deployments, documenting and collating all relevant information. You'll be deploying applications using SCCM, validating existing packages and importing into SCCM, deploying and performance testing, ensuring the applications run within Windows 10 and 7. You'll liaise with testers and UAT groups to test applications and review results, providing progress updates to SDMs, Project and Client Teams. Lastly, you'll be creating and managing OS system builds, patch management, compliance reporting and AD systems administration. What you'll need to succeed To succeed in this role, ideally you will have previous experience working in an MSP or enterprise environment performing the following duties: Deploying applications with SCCM current branch Windows build/image creation and management Desktop configuration (ADK, MDT, creation of Task Sequences) OS and application Patch management AD administration Scripting, specifically using PowerShell SCCM Windows 10, 8.1 and 7 Basic networking Desirable Skills, Knowledge & Experience Administering and Deploying System Centre 2012 Configuration Manager MD-101T01 Deploying the Modern Desktop MD-101T02 Managing Modern Desktops and Devices MD-101T03 Protecting Modern Desktops and Devices Experience of application packaging Desktop productivity suite configuration and deployment (Office 365 ProPlus, Office 2016) AV event management Microsoft Intune and MDM To be successful in gaining this position, you will need to pass Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) pre-employment checks.
