They are seeking a detail-oriented Automation Engineer to enhance their capabilities as they enter a new phase of growth. As an Automation Engineer you'll play a key role in the Infrastructure Engineering team, who have a wealth of experience building and scaling services in a Cloud environment. You'll work directly with the Tech Lead and Technical Product Owner to improve collaboration and productivity by automating infrastructure and workflows, optimising efficiency for the software and site reliability engineering teams. In this Automation Engineer role your support will have an impact from the start, as you'll provide vital support to engage and improve the whole lifecycle from inception and design through to deployment, operation and refinement. You'll work to build scalable, efficient cloud infrastructure, implementing monitoring for automated system health checks, as well as building the CI pipeline. You'll be a key figure across engineering teams, as you'll have the opportunity to train and guide the development of SRE teams in teams in DevOps practices. Requirements: You have strong DevOps and CI/CD experience (including tools like Jenkins / Ansible / Terraform / CloudFormation / Puppet) You have good working knowledge of Cloud based technologies (AWS preferred) You're familiar with algorithms, data structures, complexity analysis and software design You naturally work in a collaborative way, and are keen to develop your technical skills and share ideas As an Automation Engineer you'll earn a highly competitive salary (to £90k) plus a comprehensive benefits package.
