Due to a recent contract win we have a fantastic opportunity for a Contract Manager to join our team and focus solely on our partnership with the Environment Agency. The Contract Manager role is at the heart of Ground Control’s business. We have a team of up to 40 Contract Managers across the United Kingdom, reporting to 5 Regional Operations Managers. You will deliver consistent high quality grounds maintenance services and acquiring additional business. This role will ensure that we run our Environment Agency contract to the highest possible standards and will focus on; Recruiting and training Field Teams in "Ways of Working" and expected quality standards Daily quality monitoring of Field Teams’ work Completing internal audits and compliance standards as set by the EA Maintaining high health and safety standards Effectively build and maintain relationships with the EA Providing management reports Price, sell, and manage additional landscaping and environmental work as and when required Accurately price new maintenance sites under tender Identify, price and supervise additional works on existing grounds maintenance sites. You will ideally have had some, but not necessarily all, of the following experiences before joining: Two to three year's practical landscape construction experience Two to three year's management experience Further education, ideally in Horticulture, Environmental Science or Country Management Ideally you will hold some or all the following qualifications IOSH, SMSTS, SSSTS and CSCS.
