Quality Assurance Lead for EHCP's

Service Care Solutions are looking for a Quality Assurance Lead for EHCP's to work within Sefton Council. The main purpose of this role is to work with key stakeholders to develop a borough wjde moderation process aimed at improving the quality and consistency of EHCP's as well as ensuring they promote good outcomes for children and young people with SEND. The role is full time (37 hours per week) and is initially on a 6 month basis to be reviewed for extension following this time. Key duties include: •To assist the Lead of Assessment and Provision in managing the EHCP process. •To lead on the quality assurance of all EHCP's, ensuring they reflect the requirement of other statutory and non-statutory plans. •To monitor the EHCP process to ensure compliance with statutory timescales. •To provide advice, support and guidance to the Assessment Co-ordination team on the EHCP process. •To develop clear guidance for children and young people, parents/carers and schools on the EHCP Process. The pay rate for this role is £20.91 per hour. Requirements •Full Enhanced DBS. •Extensive experience in completing EHCP.
