Your new role As an experience and qualified Community Nurse you will take on a range of duties for your patients, including administering medication, cleaning wounds and changing dressings, assisting with doctors' examinations, Palliative care, setting up IV drips and giving injections, such as insulin. What you'll need to succeed To be the ideal candidate for this role, you will be extremely professional and organised with previous experience working in a community nursing job (ideally recent 6 month). As this has the potential to be a highly pressured role, you must be able to work under stressful situations and treat each patient with respect and sensitivity. Essential Requirements Full UK driving licence Access to a reliable vehicle Full nursing qualifications NMC registration Competency skills Required: Medicine Management Diabetes care/Insulin administration Trauma wounds- non complex Surgical wounds- non complex Pressure Ulcer care Recent Anaphylaxis Training Male and female catheterisation- care of and insertion.
