Cameo is delighted to be once again working with an exciting B2B client in their search for Data Scientists. This company is a global market leader in people and products identification and workplace safety products. They have a great team of people, innovative products and an international reach. The client is looking for candidates that offer strong attention to detail and can support the continued growth and development of marketing and sales campaigns through innovative data analysis. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Serve as technical expert on the team, coordinating with the entire direct marketing team to support direct mail and wider marketing team functions, optimize data and system processes, and drive future innovation. Build machine learning systems to understand cross-channel interactions (online and offline) Perform statistical analysis across diverse datasets to drive and measure performance Execution and management of direct marketing campaigns including designing and writing programs and packages for extraction, segmentation and statistical analysis on large datasets. Create holistic dashboards and reporting solutions that drive effective business decision-making for all levels of management. Pair knowledge of customer data, structures, and business rules, with an understanding of business needs to identify opportunities for new programs, support integration of new data elements and systems, scope and prioritize technical project work for the team Research and evaluate advanced statistical and machine learning models, emerging tools and technologies in reporting, analytics and data science. Participate in marketing database, customer data platform (CDP) and any other cross-functional projects as a subject matter expert on data science and advanced programming. Provide support and training to the users on developed tools and solutions. Develop scalable tools to drive automation and optimize business processes. Key skills and Experience required: Professional experience performing database programming, data science and analytics. Demonstrates advanced programming skills in R, Python, SQL and SAS. Experience analyzing multi-channel marketing campaigns involving A/B testing, multivariate testing, and segmentation techniques. Experience with data visualization tools such as Domo, Power BI and Tableau is preferred. Experience with Data Science in the cloud (AWS, Azure, Google) is preferred. Knowledge in advanced analytics concepts and algorithms (e.g., machine learning, statistical learning, Bayesian methods, neural networks, natural language processing, etc.) Strong attention to detail, with an innovative problem solving mindset.
