Overview
Summary We are working with a fabulous Pub group with 90 sites based in the south of England. Fantastic food, beautiful locations with a great reputation to boot We need a Sous Chef who has a passion for fresh food, excellent cooking skills and will be responsible for assisting the Head Chef in all aspects of the kitchen as well as motivating the brigade in this fast moving environment. Previous experience of working in a busy kitchen at sous chef level is essential, you must be willing to take on responsibility and remain calm under pressure. The site is based in Kent, live in is available if required, on top of a competitive salary the role offers excellent perks and bonus. The Role Delivering the food concept to Company standard and exceeding guests expectations All aspects of food stock control including ordering, taking deliveries,stock taking,control of wastage Supporting the Head chef in the smooth running of the kitchen and deputising in their absence Training and development of the kitchen team so they can reach their potential Pass both external and internal audits Health And Safety Compliance in line with company policy and Law You Must have experience as a Sous Chef with at least 2 years experience. Must come from a food led Gastro Pub or Restaurant.
