JUNIOR SOUS CHEF – fresh, seasonal menus – busy kitchen –£23,000 excellent tips - This lovely village pub has a busy restaurant and due to this popularity they are looking for an enthusiastic Junior Sous Chef to strengthen the team. It is part of a small independently owned group of pubs each with their own special identity. At this site there is a brigade of 6 chefs preparing modern British cuisine with International influences. Everything is made in house using fresh, seasonal produce and there is an emphasis on using locally sourced and artisan produce too. As Junior Sous Chef you will be trained in all aspects of the day to day running of the kitchen, including menu design, costing, stock control, ordering, maintaining all health, safety and hygiene procedures along with training and motivating the team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a good quality, busy establishment and feel passionately about cooking with fresh, seasonal produce.
