Overview
Venture Recruitment Partners are working with a well-established global business in Basingstoke.The client is looking to recruit a Management Accountant for 4 months, which could extend to 12 months. Reporting to a Finance Manager you will be responsible for: ·Monthly journal work, liaising with relevant stakeholders ·Month end reporting ·Month end analysis and commentary ·Balance sheet reconciliations ·Intercompany accounting and reconciliations ·Preparing financial statements ·Preparing reports as and when required ·Tax reporting ·Adhoc tasks The company has multiple locations, therefore the ability to coordinate month end close across multiple entities would be advantageous. Good communication skills coupled with the ability and experience to push back with senior stakeholders when necessary will be useful. The ideal candidate with be someone that is studying towards an accounting qualification - ACA, ACCA or CIMA. Due to the size of this organisation, experience of working in a shared service centre or large organisation will be advantageous.
