Overview
My Client is viewed as a highly regarded boutique wealth manager. They are seeking a proactive, confident leader to manage their day to day operations. As Operations Manager, your primary responsibility is to oversee all aspects of the administration service. Working across both Chelmsford and the Bristol office, you will be the 'go to’ person for any escalated issues, as well as system queries so experience of working with Advisor Office is ESSENTIAL. Accountabilities & Deliverables Provide strategic input into the development plans Ensure continuous review of all processes to ensure these comply with those relating to treating customers fairly Have overall responsibility for the monitoring and provision of evidence of the quality of administration staff work, ensuring any issues are raised with the client and the individual, taking action where appropriate. Responsible for ensuring you remain up to date and fully conversant with any relevant legislation/regulatory requirements applicable to your role and business area. This includes having an understanding of all company policies and of relevant Assurance policies Communicate in a professional manner at all levels, both internally and externally Conduct the performance management and appraisal process for all direct reports Identify Team training needs and develop and maintain skills and competency training, working closely with Business Coach/Training Manage resource levels, workloads and productivity to ensure targets are met Implement, monitor and action all required internal and external control mechanisms to ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory bodies Build and implement a plan to ensure compliance, embracing Treating Customers Fairly ethos and principles You will have proven experience in a similar role and in depth knowledge of Advisor Office. You will be a motivational leader and have excellent planning and organisational skills. Customer focused and a strong communicator you’ll be the catalyst in motivating a team, promoting excellent relationships and have the ability to influence and persuade at all levels. Demonstratable skills in strategic planning, strategic management, budget compilation and delivery within costs and on time are key. As is your ability to remain business focused and clearly understand the commercial impact of actions and decisions.
