About the Role: There are currently both companion, and live-in support roles available. As a ‘Live in Care Worker / Support Worker’ you will be helping others to live as independently as possible, by providing the best standards of care and support. Support service users in their own homes, with care assignments lasting from two weeks to several months. Provide companionship and support around the house. Enable service users to continue enjoying a fulfilling social life. If necessary, assist with personal care and specific medical needs (full training provided). Role Specifics: Successful candidates will be given full training, covering the following: Practical subject such as cooking and household responsibilities. Health and safety; moving and handling. Personal care. Medication. Dementia assistance. Role Requirements: Minimum of 1 year experience working in a practical care role is preferred. NVQ Level 2/3, desirable but not essential. Full driving licence would be useful, but not essential to the role.
