CAD Technician (Fitted Furniture) Welwyn Garden City £28,000 - £30,000 DOE 20 Days Holiday Bank Holidays Pension Progression 9am to 5.30pm Monday to Friday 40 hours CAD Technician required for a modern and innovative manufacturer with a vast product range. This is a new role due to continued growth and offers the successful candidate an opportunity to be a part of an industry leading team and play a key role in the development of new products. To apply for the role, you need to have technical knowledge and experience in joinery/fitted furniture as well as be able to comfortably draft all technical details in 2D (AutoCad) and ideally 3D (SketchUp). Knowledge and ability to work in lifelike 3D is a plus. A vast knowledge in joinery hardware and construction is a must for the execution of this role. You’ll be joining a team of professionals for whom you will be preparing 2D and 3D drawings with specifications and cutting lists for the workshop for manufacturing. You’ll work on a range of designs supplied by various successful architecture & interior design practices to be used in commercial and residential projects. You’ll work closely with manufacturing and all relevant internal teams to ensure successful delivery to the client.
