Overview
Robert Half are partnering with a growing manufacturing business in Dorset. They are leaders in their field and have a global reach; engineering and developing products for a modernising community is what they do We are recruiting for a passionate and hands on immediately available Finance Manager to support the Financial Controller through a peak time. This role will last for circa 4-6 months, but can also go permanent. Role As a finance manager, you will be expected to take on the following responsibilities: Process payroll for three main entities. Compile month end management accounts. Receive and handover detailed process notes to a new member of staff. Consolidate a year end for the three main lines of business. Close off the ledgers. Year end and month end bank reconciliations. Year end supplier and customer reconciliations. Implement KPI's to improve performance of the finance team. Improve efficiency's of the sales and purchase ledger functions. Manage a team of 4. Profile In a previous role, you will have exceeded the above responsibilities and capable of parachuting into a very busy environment. This business is looking for someone who is passionate, can use their own initiative and will be confident in the processes they are running or implementing. The main key role will be handing the workload over to the permanent hire. However, if you have the right skill sets, you could also be a permanent hire too Company This business is heavily invested in R & D.
