Placements Officer- 16 hours a week- Actual salary: £9,756.02 to £11,319.25 per annum- Permanent- Asap Start Placements Officer The post is for 16 hours per week. The working pattern is Tuesday to Friday, 1.00 pm to 5.00 pm. Salary Banding - £9,756.02 to £11,319.25 per annum (fte £23,228.62 to £26,950.61 per annum) The company: This company is a nonprofit fostering agency with a strong reputation and track record for providing high quality, value for money fostering placements for looked after children. As part of this company's continued growth and ongoing development, they are expanding their team. The role: To contribute to the provision of a first class fostering service for children/young people through timely and efficient dealing with the receipt and management of referrals for foster placement. Duties will include: liaising with internal and external colleagues in relation to new children referred and existing children in placement and coordinating placement moves; negotiating with local authority colleagues and foster carers to influence and inform decision making; and, undertaking marketing activities to notify Local Authorities of foster carer vacancies. You will need: Ability to work in a fast paced, often pressured environment, working to tight deadlines and with competing demands.
