Overview
Robert Half Finance & Accounting are currently recruiting a Qualified Financial Accountant for a business based in Cardiff. This position is a key role within the UK division, and the successful candidate will be integral in driving the continued success of the finance function as a part of the wider business. You will report directly into the CFO, continually delivering technical accounting support. The role is initially on a temporary basis supporting positive company growth, with the view to become permanent for the successful candidate. Key Responsibilities Management accounting and reporting Financial year-end report production Statutory accounts preparation Audit preparation and liaising with Auditors Tax compliance Sales / inventory accounting Monthly analysis of gross margins v budgeting targets Monthly consolidations Budgeting and forecasting Managing all intercompany transactions Assisting the CFO with Board reports Calculation of sales commissions and royalties ONS management Your Profile Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Previous experience in a financial/year-end accountant role Up-to-date knowledge of accountancy principles and legislation Ability to work autonomously or with minimal supervision Pay Rate £17.00 - £22.00 per hour holiday pay The salary range/rates of pay is dependent upon your experience, qualifications or training.
