Overview

Group Financial Controller SF Recruitment are working with a global, PE owned business that is undergoing a sustained period of growth based in Nottingham. The business has a highly respected name within its industry and you will sit within a high performing and fast paced finance department based in Nottingham. Our client is seeking a Group Head of Finance to lead a large finance team for the delivery of all group reporting and commercial analysis to the board and investors with responsibility for the full management of the monthly reporting timetable for the group. Our client is seeking to add a technically sound and commercially astute individual to their team. This is a senior leadership role within the business and will play a key role in supporting in the ambitious expansion plans of the business through continued organic growth alongside M&A activity. Leading financial reporting to the Board, investors to include managing and coordinating the monthly reporting timetable for the Group. Responsible for the manage of the year-end process, including preparation of Statutory accounts, tax filings and liaison with auditors. Other deliverables: - Management of accounting team, controls and timely provision of information for reporting - Responsible for preparation of quarterly financial report, management, discussion and analysis as well as related filings in UK and the wider global business - Group tax planning and structuring - Group treasury management - Monthly consolidation and group accounts - Projects to drive efficiencies across the group - Group corporate filings/restructuring - Support with Corporate/banking/equity structuring changes - Lead contact for the external auditors during audit process Our client is seeking a talented and highly experienced Group Finance professional with extensive experience operating within a multi-site operation and big team management experience to head up their group function. - Strong technical finance and accounting experience, likely to be big 4 trained; - Professionally qualified (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) - Private equity/Corporate transaction experience - Group consolidation and reporting experience - multi site/multi currency - Dynamic individual with strong interpersonal skills Package Confidential; remuneration is attractive, bonus, pension, private healthcare & car allowance.
