Overview

Due to our clients expansion and growth of contracts Team Support are currently recruiting for Skilled Ground Workers and 360 Excavators to work across the North East. Working in a two man gang with one machine driver and one ground worker. We are looking for three gangs of two. Experience: Previous experience in ground works and within the utility sector. Kerbs/Braces/Edgings/Tarmac. All aspects of finishing. Understand construction drawings and levels. Experience of working on telecommunications networks e.g fibre. Experienced in a similar operational or engineering environment within the telecommunications industry. Duties: Required to perform excavations, repairs and reinstallations, installation of ducting, chambers, street cabinets and install new draw rope to customers premises prior to install date. Be competent in the use of Stihl Saws, Wacker Plates, Trench Compactor, Mini digger, Jack Hammer and hold the required certification to complete the works. Be able to complete appropriate paperwork i.e job sheets, risk assessments, plan sheets and van sheets. MUST hold: CSCS card (valid) Driving licence Desirable: NRSWA/Street works card First Aid certificate Towing capability on driving licence Abrasive Wheels Training Cat & Genny Competitive hourly rate offered (paid weekly PAYE) Hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm
