Overview
Home Trainer If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of the people we support within their home and believe you have the skills and experience to train and continuously develop our dedicated team of carers we would love to hear from you. The role would suit an existing Health care trainer or a someone with management/supervisory experience within a Health & Social Care setting such as a care manager, deputy manager, assistant care manager or experienced care supervisor who is looking for a new challenge. As the Care Trainer you will draw on your own experience in Care to enhance the training and have the skills to make every course enjoyable, participate and meet the learning needs of all attendees. The ideal candidate will be confident with the following duties: Delivering the Care Certificate to new entrants Refresher training to existing Care Assistants Undertake supervisions and observations with Care Assistants to support them. Minimum Requirements: Level 3 Award in Teaching & Education, PTTLS, CTLLS and have a background in Care. Minimum of Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification. First Aid Certificate Moving & Handling Train the Trainer The ideal candidate will be confident with the following duties: Delivering the Care Certificate to new entrants Refresher training to existing Care Assistants Undertake supervisions and observations with Care Assistants to support them Support the office team with the running of the service Be involved in supporting with the outside out of hours on call service on a rotation basis along with several other members of the management team. (Extra payments will be made for On call responsibilities on the weekend).
