Overview
Our client based in Chelmsford is looking for a Support Worker/Driver for an ongoing requirement. We are working with a local company and looking for the ideal candidate to support a visually impaired community fundraiser on his day to day duties. This would include providing one to one assistance from his home office Monday - Wednesday 14 hours a week. You would be computer literate and have experience of working with Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, Power point and Access 365. You would need to be flexible on working hours as there will be some weekend requirements, ie attending fund raising or charity events and general meetings. Someone with previous experience of working with a charity would be an advantage. You will have reliable transport as you will transporting the client not only from A to B, but also covering South and Mid Essex. The working hours are Monday to Wednesday over a 14 hour period, as well as some weekend requirements which could be anything from 9:30am to 16:30pm The hourly rate is £12 per hour, plus 45p per mile for the use of your own car.
