Library and Student Support are looking for 2 strong and enthusiastic candidates to join our team as an IT Specialist and Trainer, responsible for supporting IT queries and providing IT training to our students. This is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a skilled IT professional, with many opportunities for enhancing existing IT skills and contributing to Digital Literacy of our students. You will be responsible for providing high quality IT Support Services to students in a rich and diverse academic environment. The ability to efficiently manage your time and workload, escalating requests as needed is essential. The role requires you to establish and maintain positive relationships with your customers, seeking to fully understand their requirements and providing solutions and documentation as required. A confident and professional individual with excellent interpersonal skills is essential, capable of providing customer care, IT training, IT support and guidance to a wide variety of students with a varying level of IT skills. You will be a collaborative team player with the ability to work under your own initiative. Strong technical skills and a willingness to learn, preferably with proven experience of working within an ITIL service management support environment is required.
