Overview

Reward Specialist - 45 k - £47k 7,500 Bonus Southampton A Small, growing and family run business has been through a period of transformation and is looking for their first reward person to drive the hr and reward function in line with the business objectives. This is a new role reporting into the HR Director. Your main responsibility will be to work as a reward specialist for the business and utilise your reward knowledge to establish what the compensation and benefits offering needs to look like and implement reward strategy for the business. This role could be great for you if you are keen to influence change and embed reward and benefits strategy. Potential projects also include harmonising the reward, benefits and payroll offering across two businesses following an acquisition. Ideal experience includes: The ability to work with and influence senior managers on reward strategies. Selecting, designing and implementing reward and recognition initiatives, both financial and non-financial. Excellent knowledge & experience of reward and payroll, including Executive pay, benefits, pay models, and an understanding of tax and HR legislation and process within the UK. Pensions & benefits administration management experience. A good understanding of employment law as it relates to pay and benefits, in particular equal pay. Strong excel skills and proficient with compensation and HR data management and reporting. Ability to analyse information, present summarised findings and propose solutions. Developing & delivering metric reporting. This is a broad role that needs someone who wants to make it their own and will likely grow organically over time.
