Geography Teacher / Geography NQT | ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School | Tower Hamlets An ‘Outstanding’ Secondary School in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets is looking for a Geography Teacher / Geography NQT to join their welcoming team for a September 2020 start The Head Teacher is looking for a committed and hard-working Geography Teacher / Geography NQT who can bring their lessons to life and inspire young minds. The school has high standards and has been graded as ‘Outstanding’ for Quality of Teaching, so you will need to be graded as ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’ in recent lesson observations. You must also hold UK QTS The Secondary School has an excellent reputation in the area and has impressive GCSE and A Level results The children are well behaved and motivated to learn, and the staff are friendly and will be there to support you in your new role. In addition, the Senior Leadership Team are very supportive and successfully lead a team of Teachers and Teaching Assistants. The Head Teacher has opened this Geography Teacher opportunity to both experienced and Newly Qualified Geography Teachers (NQTs) – Experienced Geography Teachers will have the opportunity to take on additional responsibilities (TLRs) these can vary from Key Stage Coordinator, Pastoral Lead and even 2iC. Newly Qualified Geography Teachers will be enrolled onto a bespoke a tailored NQT Induction that has helped shape hundreds of ‘Outstanding’ Teachers and current leaders.
