VMware and Storage Administrator

A leading Financial Services client are looking for a VMware and Storage Administrator to be the Subject matter expert (SME) for VMware technologies and SAN storage. Up to £65000.00 You will be responsible for implementing, configuring, securing, maintaining and supporting the VMware and storage infrastructures. Required Skills and Work Experience Essential Virtual datacentre architecture, optimisation and security 5 years experience Microsoft Systems Administration 5 years VMware installation, configuration and administration; VMware VCP/VCAP Data Centre & vRealize certification Must have experience with the following VMware technologies: vSphere VMware CLI vRealize Orchestrator Site Recovery Manager vSphere Fault Tolerance vSphere High Availability 5 years SAN Management Excellent Powershell Scripting Excellent communication and documentation Ability to work effectively in a high pressure environment Backup and Disaster Recovery Experience Desirable Working knowledge of Redhat Enterprise Linux Knowledge of IP networking and network troubleshooting Brocade Fibre SAN Fabric switches Dell EMC Unity SAN administration Unfortunately we are only able to respond to successful applicants.
