IT Project Manager (VMware) - £450-£500 Company: The position will be working for a multi-million pound organisation that is seeking a technical IT Project Manager on a 6 month rolling contract who has strong experience delivering projects within a heavily virtualised environment (VMware, vSphere, Hyper-V or AWS). The IT Project Manager will provide project management oversight and act as subject matter across a number of communication, media and broadcasting projects. The Project Manager will be confident communicating face to face, verbally and via email with the client at all levels of their organisation, challenging the client if required and managing client escalations and expectations to ensure the project is delivered successfully. Project: This role requires a technically astute PM experienced in leading a project from physical to virtual (P2V) within a cloud infrastructure enterprise environment. The chosen IT Project Manager must also have previous skills delivering SIEM (Security information and event management) and vROPS (VMware vRealize Operations) systems, applications or systems within a large organisation. Project management prerequisite: • Lead project management experience within P2V cloud environments. • Strong experience delivering SIEM and vROPS projects. • A technical awareness off VMware or vSphere or Hyper-V or AWS • Prince 2 or APM qualification. • Knowledge of delivering Networks changes to support IT implementations • Excellent understanding of delivering Infrastructure solutions, both in house and in the cloud. • Understanding of ERP, Workplace and Service Management IT Applications • Awareness of waterfall and agile principles. Rate-£450-£500 per day a 6 month rolling contract / 35-hour week 9am - 5pm - IMMEDIATE START.
