Floating Support Worker

Are you an experienced Housing Support Worker looking for your next assignment within a Mental Health Organisation? My client is an established provider based in Birmingham looking to hire a temp team member to work as a Floating Support Worker, working with service users out in the community. As the Floating Support Worker you will be required to carry out a range of duties such as the following: - working with service users directly dealing with mental health issues - visiting service users in their homes - working on the front line with all aspects of signposting and advice - managing your own caseload of clients - carrying out risk assessments - devising support plans - housing related support and advice This is a full time role for 37.5 hours , mostly working from Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm and working one weekend day per month. You will also work one late shift a week which starts at 1pm and finishes at 9pm. As this role does require working in the community and floating support, a car driver would be ideal however this is not essential. The client will need someone who is reliable,consistent and able to commit to the entire duration of the assignment. Please note- You must hold an enhanced DBS check issued within the last 2 years to be considered for this role.
