Senior C# Web Developer - Leicester - £55k Summary: Role: Full-stack Senior Web Developer using the Microsoft stack with C# as your primary language. Key skills: C#, ASP.Net MVC and core, JavaScript, SQL Server, Azure, Microservices, Devops, etc. Salary: up to £55k depending on experience Location: Leicester Working with a very well-established company with a base in Leicester, I’m looking for a Senior Developer to join their growing team Whilst this is a fully hands-on senior development role, you will get the chance to flex your mentoring muscle by helping to mentor a small team of a 6-7 devs; making sure you and your team are happy and keeping ahead of the curve in terms of tech used and implemented in your solutions. This is an important aspect of the role, so please take it into consideration when applying for this role. Personality-wise, I’ve been asked to look for an experienced Developer who has a genuine passion for technology; who sees development as not just a job, but a way of life You’ll want to play around with different technologies to see what you can do with it (and how you can break it). Technically, you’ll need some of the following: C# C# ASP.Net MVC (4/Core) SQL Server Azure Docker/ Kubernetes/ Terraform DevOps practices and workflows Source control TDD Agile Experience/ knowledge of any of the following would be beneficial: They have recently undergone a massive software and hardware revamp here and so you’ll get to not only work with the most up-to-date technologies, but you can do it on the slickest kit around, too They have a whole host of new and intriguing projects underway, with around a good several year pipeline to go with it- so you’ll never be bored here. Wanting to make sure they look after their staff any way they can, they are have introduced Microsoft Certification training, to make sure you’re always at the top of your game This role would suit someone with a few years’ experience in a C# web developer role who would like to step up their game by getting involved in projects that will genuinely challenge and push you. The role is based in Leicester.
