Installation Engineer

Due to expansion, ongoing and new contracts being awarded, we are looking for an experienced Security Installation Engineer to join our team of talented engineers. Security Installation Engineer Location: Orsett (In and around the M25 area) Salary: £33,000 - £36,000 /year depending on experience with Bonuses given on overall company performance. About us We provide a full range of electronic security systems including but not limited to Intercoms, Access Control, CCTV, Automated Barriers and Gates, Speed Gates & Intruder Alarms They provide both simple standalone systems as well as fully integrated IP based solutions. They now seek an individual to work with the Managing Director and the estimating team to produce estimates for their current client base as well as work with leads generated through the marketing carried out by the company. Main Role: Installation of CCTV, Access Control, Intercoms & Intruder Alarms including commissioning Experience in connecting Remote Signalling i.e. Redcare, Digi Air etc Ideally Fire Alarm installation experience although not essential When required you will need to assist the other areas of the business such as: Inspecting, servicing, repairing and installing all aspects of security related systems Investigating and diagnosing faults and making effective, economical and lasting repairs Respond to emergency calls within the timescale specified wherever possible Carry out routine maintenance on all types of security systems Participate in the out of hours on call rota for all system types whenever necessary (1 in 4) Intruder Alarms (Texecom / Galaxy) Access Control (ACT / FDI / Paxton) CCTV (IP / Analogue) Intercoms (Urmet / BPT / Entrotec) Ensure that works are complaint with Intruder, Access, CCTV and Fire regulations Carry out site surveys when required Fully complete all relevant documentation and PDA notes, log books etc; relating to all aspects of role The ideal Security Engineers will have minimum 2 years’ experience in the following systems: Fire alarms (although experience is not essential) You must also be able to travel in and around the M25 Areas and due to the mobile nature of the role you must have a full clean UK Driving License.
