They have an exciting opening for a Design Engineer where you will be carrying out design and drafting assignments. As a Design Engineer will also be involved in creating drawings to be used in both sales manufacturing and construction. As a Design Engineer You will be required to investigate and obtain all data required to develop the necessary designs. Essential functions of the role as Design Engineer will encompass the following Creating specific drawings to be used in both customised and standard projects. Work closely with all personnel to ensure that drawings contain the correct information and contain no errors Generate detailed mechanical drawings for both manufacturing and plant applications Be the point of contact to troubleshoot any assembly issues with those in the plant. Work closely with the checker, engineers and sales personnel Ideal candidate: Ideally educated to degree level in mechanical or civil engineering but will consider A Level in graphic or technical design Have general construction industry knowledge Have the ability to read and interpret blue prints Experience of using Autocad, Autodesk Revit and Trimble. Be self-motivated with the ability to manage their own workload.
