Overview
Microwave Design Engineer 6 month contract Stevenage Advantage Resourcing are working in partnership with a prestigious defence organisation to find a talented microwave design engineer to join their Stevenage site on a 6 month contract where you will play a key role in the design of active mixed signal RF/microwave modules (including transmitters, receivers, synthesisers) for RF seekers On a regular basis you will be: Interacting with internal customers and suppliers to develop circuits to requirements including cost and volume constrains Ensuring designs meet requirements by creating and testing to test specifications Providing technical support to existing designs, support production failures in the factory to solve obsolescence issues For successful candidates here, you will possess experience in: Active microwave, RF and analogue circuit design including simulation and layout using ADS design tools Awareness of high - speed digital electronics and FPGA circuit design Ability to perform design proving test and trials in laboratory Ability to diagnose hardware problems using standard and specialist test equipment such as VNAs Working with electronics design teams to transfer schematics into layouts for mixed signal circuit boards Familiar with manufacturing techniques and capabilities Understanding of and use of engineering tools, processes and procedures to publish designs For more information, please contact Sam at advantage Resourcing on: 01615198317, quoting the reference number: 833205 Advantage Resourcing is a service driven recruitment consultancy.
