A highly innovative global software development company who are a market leader in the development of highly innovative and integrated end to end software systems for the global Financial Industry have an exciting opportunity for a talented Software Architect to join their team. This company are leading the way in developing innovative software products that are revolutionising the financial industry and the Software Architect will be responsible for the development of solutions and deployment and streamlining of processes and systems. You will work in the company’s scaled agile environment to collaborate with product owners and product managers to determine functional and non-functional requirements for all new software or applications. The ideal candidate for this Software Architect role will have a real passion for technology and will be always keen to expand their Architecture, Software and IT knowledge. In addition, you will have a passion for further learning and self- development and be prepared to upgrade your skills as and when required. This role will involve working in a small team in an environment of open information-sharing to assure cross-training and cover within the department. RESPONSIBILITIES · Develop high-level Feature and Enabler specifications. · Understand all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards · Communicate successfully all concepts and guidelines to development team · Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design · Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers · Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility etc. · Approve final product before launch ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED · Proven experience as software architect, with knowledge of React, .Net and .Net Core, ASP.NET, ASP.NET Core, Azure Technologies. · Experience in software development and coding in various languages (C#, .NET, TypeScript) · Excellent knowledge of software and application design, architecture and patterns [Solid, DDD, TDD, SOA, Service Design thinking and Distributed Systems] · Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design · Understanding of software quality assurance principles · A technical mindset with great attention to detail · High quality organisational and leadership skills · Outstanding presentation abilities · Excellent interpersonal, time management and communication skills- both written and oral. · Customer focused and can present ideas and concepts in user-friendly language. · Flexible and willing to work outside core business hours as required. · knowledge of cloud architecture patterns.
