Overview
Electrical Service Engineer required to join a large multinational company who have been operating for over 80 years and have an employee base of over 900 people. The Company turnover is in excess of £150M and they plan on being the world leader in environment control. They are currently looking for a Service Engineer to carry out planned preventative maintenance, repairs and service on smoke control and climate control systems around the North West of England working within car parks, large residential buildings, shopping centres, warehouses and prisons. The role will require the Service Engineer to have Electrical qualifications such as an NVQ or City & Guilds and a full UK driving license. Electrical Service Engineer Position Overview Carry out a Service, Remote Service and/or Inspection to the system in accordance with the manufacturers Service Specification. Repair, test and clean various types of ventilators, extract fans, smoke curtains, solar shading, smoke extract door type systems and car park smoke ventilation systems. Inspect, repair and carry out functional and electrical testing on various control panels and battery backup units. Provide customers with technical support over the phone during and out of normal working hours.
