EHS Coordinator (2 Year FTC) Pirbright About the role Are you passionate about Health & Safety and looking to make a difference in your next role? We currently have an opportunity at our manufacturing site in Pirbright for an EHS Coordinator to join us for 2 Year Fixed Term Contract. You would support and contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) strategies, procedures and initiatives across the site to deliver proactive EHS behaviours and enable employees to work in a compliant way, within an environment that demands strict regulatory and corporate requirements and awareness. Key Accountabilities: Provide advice and recommendations to employees on matters of EHS to ensure compliance with UK EHS legislation and Corporate Requirements Assisting in the management of Risk assessments, COSHH, PUWER, Manual Handling, Noise, DSE, PPE, Contractors, Waste disposal, Incident investigations and Inspections and providing EHS advice on site improvement projects as required. Support and be involved in the site incident response and crisis management processes Provide Information, instruction and training to site employees on EHS topics Promote improvement in the EHS culture across the site What experience / skills you need Knowledge and experience in advising on matters of Environment, Health and Safety in a practical setting Knowledge of an EHS regulatory environment Excellent hazard observation skills Investigatory skills Passionate, pragmatic and able to think outside the box Strong communication and interpersonal skills Pharmaceutical industry knowledge would be desirable What we can offer Competitive basic bonus structure Flexible working Free Private Healthcare up to 12% employer pension contributions 25 - 30 days holiday (depending on length of service) Bank holidays About BoehringerIngelheim At BoehringerIngelheim we create value through innovation with one clear goal: to improve the lives of patients.
